Do you provide an initial consult? Is it free?
Force Advisor provides an initial free consultation online, by phone or in person. The initial consult serves both parties in determining whether or not they wish to enter into a service agreement. Prospective clients must complete and submit the new client profile form before an initial consult.
Does Force Advisor work remotley or in-person?
A large majority of our sessions are completed remotly/virtually via services like Zoom, Google meetings and Skype. In-person services are also possible.
What is the advising process like?
For contracts: Force Advisor considers and drafts retention agreements. After an agreement is signed by both parties Force Advisor begins working with you and on your behalf. Force Advisor will provide you with a working timeline, periodic progress summaries and detailed statements until the service agreement ends.
What is the difference between consulting & counseling or therapy?
Although consultants may function as counselors for their clients, and although this process may be therapeutic, consultants do not provide mental-health services, treat mental illness, or make mental-health diagnoses.
Can I hire a Force Advisor consultant to conduct research and / or investigation?
Yes.
Can we work together and communicate by telephone or email?
Yes.
Where does the consulting take place?
Advisors work remotely, come to your home or place of business. Sometimes it is necessary to meet in various neutral locations.
How much should I expect to pay for consulting services?
Our rates are very competitive and often lower than our competition. A typical 1 hour virtual counseling/consulting session costs $60-80 USD. The cost of other services varies according to your particular needs. For longer-term contracts we often offer lower flat rates.
How are payments to Force Advisor made?
Payment for services rendered can be made online via secure Paypal or directly to the consultant in the form of cash, check, or money order. Talk to your consultant for further details.
What if I can't afford Force Advisor fees?
Force Advisor reserves a limited number of sliding scale spots for lower-income clients. Interested parties should make contact with us to determine eligibility. Force Advisor also offers free referrals to outside organizations.
Are services from Force Advisor confidential?
Yes. All services provided are 100% confidential and we will not share your information with any third party unless directed to do so by you.
Does Force Advisor offer referrals to other consultants?
Yes. Force Advisor may offer free referrals to other consultants and agencies.
